Tshega Christian Mission’s goal is to reach all programmes as our vision is to take care of the hearts of all people crossing our path. The programme serves as the core programme motivated by John 15.
John 15: "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
A Bible period is hosted twice a week in grades 4 through 7. We use this time to teach important morals that kids can use throughout their lives. We aim to provide a solid practical Christian foundation.
This is aimed at looking after our own TCM family ensuring that we are actively pursuing relationship with God. Fellowships are gatherings that take place once every term and are focused on encouragement, relationship, and testimonies. We pray together and share devotions every morning setting the platform for our care team to nurture where needed.
Outreaches consists of reaching out to the families within the community through house visitation, basic needs support, evangelism, bible distribution and discipleship. The feeding scheme serves as a platform to encourage children with the word, building relationship to assist with assimilation into the faith community. These outreaches are weaved within the Outreach Programme providing basic needs to families.
We believe that prayer is one of the core heartbeats in our Christian walk. We prioritize prayer and meet every morning and afternoon as well as doing prayer walks to ensure that our organization remains guided and protected by God.
We aim to host an annual crusade focused on salvation, evangelism, deliverance, discipleship and assimilation into the faith community. We partner with local pastors to ensure that the discipleship process is followed afterwards. In 2023 we hosted our first annual Love and Fire Crusade alongside Evangelist Israel Taylor and saw 2500 people in attendance and 300 salvations with many deliverances.
Ministry Volunteers play a vital role in strengthening the hands of the Ministry Programme. They serve in all areas of ministry and bring a very unique blessing in giving up their time. We have seen amazing transformation at the hand of our Ministry Volunteers.
TCM partnered with Word in Action, an interdominational ministry which provides a tested and trailed guideline for weekend camps aimed at practical ways to live a daily life as a child of God. We currently host four weekend camps a year.
