The greatest virtue at TCM is the presence of God, apart from all the other things that can be spoken of. It is an understatement to say we are at work when we are at TCM. It’s a sanctuary where one can experience the presence of God.
It is my first time to work at an organisation where spirituality is the anchor for everything, including the decision-making process. I saw the Lord responding to some critical matters in which as humans, we were too minute to find solutions. TCM taught me to put my trust in the Lord and leaning not on our own understanding (Prov 3: 5-6).
We have a moment with the Lord every day before we start any daily proceeding because we believe that all other things work better when we put God first. People are getting transformed by the preaching of the word of God every morning. Sometimes, devotion sessions become praising and worship sessions, pouring our hearts to God. Surely, TCM is our Bethel (the house of God), or Peniel (a place to see the face of God), and our Jerusalem (a place of peace).
The Lord used TCM to transform my life, as I was raised from dust to become a person who can be counted in the society. I have seen the love and care at TCM, which l am so passionate to pass it on to others through Christian education. I used to see teaching as a profession until this organisation showed me that it is more of a calling to be a teacher (Prov 16:3). I have never had this feeling of self-actualisation as l have now ever since l started working at TCM as a teacher. I am and shall continue to be an instrument that God uses to bring transformation to his people through the various programmes at TCM.
